About the Author

Jay Wilkinson has worked in the nonprofit world for more than 25 years. He cofounded Level 100 Communications to become one of the nation’s first companies specializing in website design. Early on, Wilkinson provided website development for entities as diverse as Raytheon Aircraft and the Backstreet Boys band. Over time, he began focusing nearly all of his time and attention on the nonprofit sector. Today, Wilkinson is the CEO of Firespring.org, a company that provides websites and marketing services to nonprofits all over America.

Randy Hawthorne runs NonprofitHub.org, an online educational community, that partners with the most prolific authors and thought leaders from the nonprofit sector to help nonprofits learn and grow. Hawthorne was a cofounder of Level 100 Communications, which was among the first group of companies in the U.S. to focus on website design. Hawthorne has dedicated his professional career to helping nonprofit organizations impact their communities.
