Janice Gow Pettey, CFRE, MNM, is principal of J.G. Pettey & Associates (http://www.jpgconsulting.com/), a consulting firm serving foundations and nonprofits. She is an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco, where she has taught courses in fundraising and strategic planning for many years.
